Our team is dedicated and committed to what we do, like you we all have the exact same passion to ride motorbikes, to enjoy every moments we share together and discover new places. Whether it be cruising the infamous B500, accessing the dizzy heights of the Swiss Alps or merely enjoying a pint together, we truly believe we have the blend of experience, age, personality and knowledge to provide you with a memorable motorcycle journey.

We do take motorcycling seriously and do our level best to ensure every member of our team is trained to ride at the highest standard and achieve an advanced motorcycling qualification. We also ensure all our guides have attended a “First Bike on Scene” course to provide you with that extra peace of mind.

Mike Cosgriff

As the Founder and owner of Europa Motorcycle Tours, Mike started the company as a way to combine his passion for riding motorcycles with a desire to discover and share the beauty of the UK and Europe with other people. This all started in 2008 when Mike fell in love with the Majestic and Serene nature of the Austrian and Swiss Alps and has covered many many miles across the UK and Europe.

Mike, although spent most of his career as a sales manager for a premium brand car dealership his passion has always been riding motorcycles and has done for nearly 20 years. Mike currently holds a Rospa advanced motorcycle qualification. He is also an active member and motorcycle tutor for his local Rospa group, and is likely to be the lead for your tour. His personal dedication to quality and customer service, as well as his vast knowledge and years of experience, will help ensure that you have the very best motorcycle holiday possible. Mike is responsible for the day to day running of the business and generally looks after the accommodation for our tours ensuring we get you the very best value for money.

Adrian Cowley

Although Adrian did not get on his first bike until 2007, now you can’t get him of it and has covered countless miles across the UK and Europe.

Adrian comes from a legal background and is very highly respected in the legal profession. As Adrian is a perfectionist, his attention to detail is second to none and ensures that every possible detail in planning our tours is covered with no stone left unturned. With his keenness for perfection and his passion for motorcycles Adrian is without doubt a crucial member of our team. Adrian also holds a Rospa Advanced qualification and normally acts as our sweep bike ensuring that all our customers get safely to their destination.

Richard Bailey

Ritchie is an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and has had more bikes than our local dealership. Ritchie joined us in 2011 to assist us as a guide on our tours, as he has travelled through France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Italy on his bike. Ritchie has a vibrant personality and you are sure never to have a dull moment with him around.

Ritchie brings to us a wealth of experience and knowledge of riding on the continent. Again Ritchie holds an advanced rider qualification and is also an active member and motorcycle tutor for his local Rospa group. We look forward to working with Ritchie this year and he will act as a lead and sweep bike on our tours.

Colin Cosgriff

Colin comes to us with ten years of riding experience and fifteen years experience of working and driving in Europe. He has a keen understanding of Europe and somehow seems to know his way round everywhere. Colin is instrumental in our route planning and carries out a lot of work behind the scenes ensuring you get to ride some of the very best roads and routes in Europe

Colin was previously a trans- continent HGV driver and specialised in carrying hazardous goods. Through his experience on the road he has gathered an extensive knowledge of the European road network and his driven thousands upon thousands of miles from Poland to Southern Italy. Presently Colin is undergoing his advanced Rospa qualification and will soon be joining us on the road as a tour leader, currently you will more likely to see Colin as one of our sweep bikes at the back of the pack.

Claire Rose - Admin & Accounts

Claire is not currently licensed to ride a motorbike which means she does not tour with us as a guide, however she is a bike nut and will do anything to be involved with them, (well almost anything anyway).

Claire by trade is a fully qualified motor mechanic with almost 10 years experience behind her, and has an excellent mechanical and technical background. Claire is a very important member of our team as she is our main contact for our suppliers and clients and looks after all your queries from bookings, travel arrangements, account queries and invoicing. Although you will mainly speak or communicate with Claire by Tel or Email, you will meet Claire on tour as she quite often rides as a pillion with Mike. We do hope to get Claire on the road with us in the future in order to take advantage of her knowledge and mechanical experience
