Tour Overview - Dumfries & Galloway Motorcycle Tour

Never been touring before? Want a taster before you set your sights further a field? Then this mini break is ideal and particularly good value. This is a fully guided tour so no need for maps or navigation, we will ride using a drop off system which, if you are unsure we will explain when we get together. This allows you to ride at a pace that you are comfortable with without having to worry about getting lost. We will however provide you in your tour pack all hotel details and routes.

We shall meet at our base for the duration of our stay based on the outskirts of Dumfries where we shall have dinner provided and have a get to know each other session over a drink or two. As this will be our base for the duration of our stay, take the opportunity to unpack your clothes for a few days and enjoy your bank holiday weekend break.

Tour Format:

Day One:

Today you will make your way to your hotel positioned on the outskirts of Dumfries, where you will meet up with your Europa Tour Guide and other guests. Tonight we shall have dinner, relax, and generally get to know each other over a glass of wine or two.

Day Two:

A guided day today so no need to worry about the navigation, just relax and enjoy the ride. We shall be exploring the Galloway Forest and will visit Loch Doon castle on our day out. We will be out for most of the day, however we will have plenty of stops a good lunch break and plenty of opportunity for photos.

Day Three

By now you will be well into your bank holiday weekend. Again a guided day with a relaxing route along the Solway Firth before heading inland to explore some more of the Galloway National Park. We shall arrive back at our hotel late afternoon in plenty of time to freshen up and change before dinner.

Day Four:

Plenty of time to enjoy breakfast and check out before we make our way home and time to say goodbye to hopefully new found friends. Scotland truly is a wonderful place and right on our doorstep too. It has great locations, fantastic roads, lots of history and truly is a mesmerising country.
